I recently had the pleasure of working with Flightcert who have developed aircraft maintenance software for the aviation industry. The software is designed to benefit aircraft owners and engineers to simplify the complex task of tracking all aircraft maintenance.
I was asked to create a brand that reflected the aviation industry and a mark of quality, assurance and safety. The logo design created embraces these aspects in a number of key design elements, the flight wings off the 'f', the brand colour and the liftoff 'tick' which can also be seen as an aircraft at takeoff.
The brand, of course, is not only the logo, just as important are the surroundings in which it sits. Extended branding was developed to support and project the logo. Custom icons were designed to explain the software features in a simple visual manner, subtle horizontal lines in the background to again reinforce the feeling of quality and establishment and carefully chosen fonts, slightly rounded in appearance to stay friendly and approachable add to the clean modern identity.
Clockwise continues to work with Flightcert and it's brand continues to grow and evolve. The Flightcert software membership is growing rapidly and the brand is now widely recognised throughout the aviation industry.
